Corrections and updates
Last updated: October 25, 2026
At CarBike Insight, we aim to publish accurate, useful coverage of cars, motorcycles, and EVs—especially for readers in India. Launch timelines, ex-showroom and on-road prices, range figures, safety ratings, and homologation details change often. When something on carbikeinsight.com is wrong, outdated, or missing important context, we want to know so we can fix it.
This page explains how to report a correction or material update. It complements our Editorial Policy and Disclaimer.
What you can report
- Factual errors (wrong model name, trim, price, battery size, power, mileage/range, dimensions, or launch status)
- Outdated information after an official revision (new price list, recall, spec change, discontinuation)
- Missing attribution or a broken link to an official source we cited
- Clarity issues that could mislead a buyer (for example confusing ex-showroom with on-road, or ICE with EV trim)
- Typos in headlines or data tables that change meaning
Opinion and subjective review judgments are not usually “corrections,” but we welcome thoughtful feedback if you believe we misstated a test condition or comparison scope.
How to send a report
Use our Contact form (topic: correction or tip) or email hello@carbikeinsight.com. A clear report helps us verify faster. Please include:
- Article URL — the full link to the page on carbikeinsight.com
- What is wrong or what changed — quote the sentence or table cell if you can, and say what it should be
- Source — link or reference to an official manufacturer page, homologation document, press release, government notification, or reputable primary source (when available)
- Your contact (optional) — so we can reply if we need clarification; we do not publish your message without permission
How we handle reports
Editorial staff review every correction request. We check claims against official or primary sources when possible. We may contact manufacturers, importers, or our authors for confirmation.
- If we confirm an error: we correct the article, update figures or wording, and fix related metadata (title, excerpt, or schema) when needed.
- Material changes: for price, safety, legality, or launch-status fixes, we add an update note or refresh the visible “Updated” date on the article when readers would otherwise rely on old information.
- Minor fixes: spelling, grammar, or formatting that does not change facts may be edited without a public note.
- If we cannot verify: we may leave the article unchanged, add context (for example “unconfirmed”), or publish a follow-up when more evidence appears. We will tell you when practical.
Timing
We do not guarantee a fixed response time. Urgent issues (serious safety misstatements, wildly incorrect pricing, or legal/regulatory errors) are prioritised. Routine spec tweaks may ship with the next editorial pass on that article.
