EICMA 2026 opened its press days in Milan on November 3, and Hero MotoCorp arrived with the Xpulse family at the centre of its stand. A small, air-cooled Xpulse 150 broke cover in leaked photos from the show floor, while the big Xpulse 421 adventure bike was teased the day before.
For Indian riders, one bike points to an affordable dual-sport for daily use. The other is Hero’s first real answer to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure.
What is Hero showing at EICMA 2026?
Hero’s EICMA 2026 stand is in Hall 11 (stand A50) at Fiera Milano Rho. Photos from the floor show a new Xpulse 150 and an Xpulse Scrambler concept, and Hero teased the Xpulse 421 before the show. Its press conference was listed for 1:45 PM Milan time, which is 6:15 PM IST.
The EICMA press schedule, updated on October 30, lists that slot for Tuesday, November 3. Vida, Hero’s electric brand, follows at 2:00 PM (6:30 PM IST) on the same stand.
The photos came out hours earlier. Images shared by XtremeAnkit showed the Xpulse 150 and a red Scrambler concept, and Rushlane reported both by 4:25 PM IST. So treat everything below as pre-conference information.
The show itself runs from November 3 to 8 at Milan Rho-Fiera. November 3 and 4 are press and trade days, and the public gets in from November 5 to 8.
What do we know about the Hero Xpulse 150?
The Xpulse 150 is a smaller, classic-style dual-sport that would slot below the Xpulse 200 and Xpulse 210. Rushlane reports a 150cc air-cooled engine with 12.2 bhp at 6,500 rpm, 12.8 Nm at 5,500 rpm and a five-speed gearbox. Hero has not confirmed these figures yet.
It had been spied before and was expected to be a 160. The leaked photos settled the name.
The design borrows the Xpulse 200’s tank shape, with bigger shrouds and a beak. The headlamp is not round. It carries an H-shaped LED signature, like the Glamour X and Passion XTEC.
Rushlane also lists LED tail lamps and indicators, a tall windscreen, a small LCD screen, a single-piece seat, a luggage rack, fork gaiters, a crash guard and a belly pan. The show bike wears white and red.
The wheels look like a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear. That is a guess from photos, not an official number.
Is the Xpulse 150 meant for India?
Not in the form shown. The show bike has a fuel-flow dial for a carburettor, which suggests export markets such as South America and Africa. Rushlane thinks an India version would need fuel injection, perhaps with an electronic throttle. Hero has not announced India plans, a date or a price for it.
There is a real gap for it, though. Hero dropped the Impulse years ago, and the Xpulse 200 4V is now the cheapest way into the family. A lighter, simpler 150 with a 21-inch front wheel could suit riders who face broken roads every day.

What do we know about the Hero Xpulse 421?
The Xpulse 421 is Hero’s planned flagship adventure bike, first previewed at EICMA 2024 and later spotted testing in Ladakh. It is expected to use an all-new liquid-cooled single of about 420cc in a new steel trellis frame. Hero teased it in an Instagram reel on November 2 but did not show the bike.
Autocar India says the reel shows mountain riding and Hero MotoSports rally images. Test bikes have a tall screen, a large tank, wire-spoke wheels, a USD fork and long-travel suspension.
The cockpit on the test bikes has a large colour TFT, new switchgear, a mode button and a cruise-control switch. BikeAdvice adds that switchable ABS, traction control and phone connectivity are possible. None of these is confirmed by Hero.
Power is the big unknown. BikeAdvice estimates about 40 hp and 40 Nm. Autocar India says around 40 hp or more, and Rushlane puts it at 40 to 45 hp. Treat any number as a guess until Hero publishes one.
What is the Xpulse Scrambler concept?
It is a scrambler-style concept that appears to share the Xpulse 421’s new platform. Leaked photos show “Scrambler Concept” lettering under Xpulse tank badges, a red tank, gold spoke rims, a USD fork, block-pattern tyres and a visible radiator. Hero has not given its engine, production plan or launch timing.
Rushlane also notes a rounded headlamp with an H-style signature, a tall tinted screen and big handguards.
If it reaches production, Hero would have two bikes on one 421 platform. Royal Enfield has done the same with its 450 engine.
When could the Xpulse 421 launch in India?
Hero has not confirmed an India launch date or price. Autocar India and BikeAdvice both expect an India launch in 2027 if the bike is unveiled at EICMA. Price estimates differ: Autocar India expects Rs 2.70 lakh to Rs 2.90 lakh, while BikeAdvice suggests Rs 2.85 lakh to Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom).
These are estimates, not Hero figures. The final price will depend on how much of the test-bike tech reaches showrooms.

Which other Indian brands are at EICMA 2026?
Hero is not alone. Royal Enfield showed the Himalayan 750, Continental GT 750 and Flying Flea S6. TVS revealed the RTR 125 and three electric scooters, TVS-owned Norton showed a 450cc Urban roadster, and Ultraviolette launched the X-47 Venom in Europe. The Hero-built Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 is there too.
The Royal Enfield twins use a new 743cc parallel-twin, as our earlier Himalayan 750 coverage tracked through testing.
TVS went for the A1 licence class. Our TVS RTR 125 story explains why its 11 kW figure matters.
CarBike Insight Analysis
Hero is building an Xpulse ladder: the 150 at the bottom, the 200 4V and 210 in the middle, and the 421 at the top. The Scrambler concept hints the 421 platform could carry more than one style.
The 421 is the one to watch. Royal Enfield’s Himalayan 450 owns this space in India. Hero has a huge dealer network and Dakar experience, but it has never sold an adventure bike this big.
The 150 may matter more for volume. A cheap, honest dual-sport with a 21-inch front wheel could suit riders in hilly and rural India, if Hero adds fuel injection and keeps the price down. That last part is our view, not a Hero plan.
Hero’s chief executive has already promised three to four premium launches before March 2027, as we covered in our Karizma XMR 250 report. Whether any Xpulse is among them is not confirmed.
Watch for Hero’s official figures from Milan, then for Indian type-approval documents.
