XPeng October 2026 Deliveries: Record 50,237 as Overseas Sales Jump 166%

XPeng October 2026 deliveries reached 50,237 vehicles, the Chinese EV maker’s best month ever and the first time it has passed 50,000. The company announced the figure on November 1, China time, along with another record: 13,326 cars delivered outside China, up 166% year on year.

Total deliveries rose 22% from September and 20% from October 2025. The new Mona L05 SUV and fast growth in Europe, the Middle East and other export markets are the main stories behind the number.

Here is what the data shows, where it came from, and whether XPeng can hit its target of more than 60,000 a month.

What were XPeng October 2026 deliveries?

XPeng delivered 50,237 vehicles in October 2026, a new monthly record. That was up 22% month on month and 20% year on year, according to the company. CnEVPost’s more precise figures are 21.77% and 19.57%. The previous record was 42,013 vehicles, set in October 2025, so the new figure beats it comfortably.

The result also returned XPeng to year-on-year growth after a small fall in September. For the first 10 months of 2026, XPeng delivered 334,604 vehicles, still 5.80% fewer than a year earlier, though that gap is narrowing.

How much did XPeng sell outside China?

Overseas deliveries hit a record 13,326 vehicles in October, up 166% from 4,999 a year earlier and 32.53% from September. That made exports about 26.53% of XPeng’s total, according to CnEVPost’s calculation. Over the first 10 months, XPeng delivered 72,805 cars abroad, about 21.76% of its total.

Overseas deliveries13,3264,999
China deliveries36,91137,014
Total50,23742,013

The table shows the real shift. XPeng’s sales inside China were almost flat year on year, at 36,911, although that was still its highest domestic month in a year. Nearly all of the year-on-year growth came from abroad.

As of October 27, XPeng’s network covered 83 countries and regions, with more than 1,200 stores outside China.

What is the Mona L05, and why does it matter?

The Mona L05 is a five-seat SUV and the third model in XPeng’s affordable Mona line. It went on sale in China on October 29, with deliveries from November 1, at a limited-time starting price of 139,800 yuan, about $20,820. It comes as a battery EV or an extended-range EV.

XPeng says the 5,000 cars available for near-term delivery sold out within three minutes. Global shipments began on October 26, and the company plans to sell it in 65 countries and regions. The Mona line has passed 360,000 cumulative deliveries in two years.

Because deliveries started only on November 1, the L05 did not count in October. It is the main reason to expect more growth in November.

Can XPeng reach 60,000 a month?

Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng said in August that XPeng aimed to exceed 60,000 monthly sales in the fourth quarter, helped by new models such as the G9L and Mona L05. From October’s level, that requires roughly another 19% increase, so the Mona L05’s ramp-up in November and December will decide it.

There are other moving parts. XPeng planned to launch its GX and G9L flagship SUVs in the Middle East in early November, and says the GX already has nearly 4,000 orders there before local prices were announced. On October 26 it also received a licence to run Level 4 robotaxi demonstration services in Guangzhou.

What does XPeng’s record mean for Europe and India?

For Europe, it confirms that XPeng is now a real exporter, not just a Chinese brand testing the water. The XPeng G9L’s European launch is one example of how quickly its range abroad is growing. For India, nothing changes yet: XPeng has announced no Indian launch.

Indian buyers interested in Chinese EV brands currently look at makers that sell here, such as BYD, or follow global launches like the Geely EX2 and EX5. XPeng’s growth shows how fast that list can change.

How does XPeng compare with other Chinese EV makers in October?

XPeng was one of two Chinese EV startups to pass 50,000 deliveries in October; Xiaomi said it delivered more than 50,000. Leapmotor led the group with 106,127. NIO delivered 34,246 across its three brands, while Li Auto fell to 29,025, its lowest month since February, according to CnEVPost.

NIO’s total split into 18,125 NIO cars, 8,383 ONVO cars and 7,738 Firefly cars, according to the company. Changan’s Deepal brand reported 32,602 global sales, up 8.01% from September.

The comparison is not perfectly fair, because some brands count exports and others mainly sell in China. But it shows XPeng is now firmly in the top group of China’s newer EV makers, after a slow start to 2026. In February, XPeng delivered only 15,256 cars, so October’s number is more than three times that figure.

CarBike Insight Analysis

October’s record is real, but read it as an export story first. Sales in China were broadly flat year on year, while overseas deliveries nearly tripled. That is a healthy spread of risk for XPeng, but it also means trade rules and tariffs abroad now matter far more to its results.

The Mona L05 is the swing factor. A low starting price and a quick sell-out of the first batch suggest strong demand, but the first few thousand cars are always the easiest to sell. Watch November and December closely.

It is also worth comparing with other EV makers. Tesla, whose Q3 2026 results we covered last month, faces Chinese brands like XPeng in more markets every quarter. For European buyers, that competition is already pushing prices down.

Who should care? European and Middle Eastern buyers considering an XPeng should feel more confident that the brand is building a lasting network. Who should wait? Anyone in a market without official XPeng sales should not import one privately, because service and software updates depend on a local partner.
